Fourth of July Field Days - 2024

The Margaretville Fire Department is excited to announce the dates of the 2024 Carnival Fair. We alredy have some huge lineups this year and are still working out the final details so more information and announcements to come. The dates are as follows: Tuesday July 2nd to Saturday July 6th with Fireworks being July 4th & 6th.

Start making your plans now to attend the 2024 Fair!! We are excited to see you all there but for now enjoy a safe and healthy winter!!

Fourth of July Field Days - 2023

The Margaretville Fire Department will host our Annual Field Days from Thursday, June 29th through Tuesday, July 4th in the Margaretville Village Park. Fireworks this year will be Saturday, July 1st and Tuesday, July 4th.

There is no cost to enter the fairgrounds, although there will be a free will donation box to help cover the cost of the fireworks. Come on down to support your local Volunteer Fire Department for some fun for all ages with Rides, Food, Beer, Fireworks, Games, Live Music, and so much more!

The full schedule is as follows:

Thursday June 29th

  • Rides open at 6pm

  • Ride Pay One Price 6-10pm - $20

Friday June 30th

  • Rides open at 6pm

  • Car show 6pm

  • Band 6-9pm: Randy Hulse, Sr.

Saturday July 1st

  • WRIP live radio on grounds, 11am-2pm

  • Chicken BBQ - noon til sold out

  • Rides open at 1pm

  • Ride Pay One Price 1-6pm - $25

  • Local Cidery and Beer Tent with Awestruck and Catskill Brewery, 6-10pm

  • Music with DJ Greg, 6-10:30pm

  • Giant Fireworks, 9:30pm

Sunday July 2nd

  • Rides open at 1pm

  • Ride Pay One Price 1-6pm: $25

  • Band 4-8pm, Country Express

Monday July 3rd

  • Rides open at 6pm

  • Ride Pay One Price 6-10pm: $25

Tuesday July 4th, Independence Day

  • Chicken BBQ - noon till sold out

  • Ride Pay One Price 1-6pm: $25

  • Local Cidery and Beer Tent with Rockland Cider Works & Woodstock Brewery, 6-10pm

  • Band 6:30-10:30pm: Roundhouse Rockers

  • Giant Fireworks Display 9:30pm
